Help Needed with Backyard and Front Garden Work We have a beautiful garden but it's gotten a bit regards and needs some early-Spring attention. I’m looking for someone to help with some general gardening and outdoor labour, mainly in the backyard, with a few smaller jobs in the front yard as well. Tasks include: • Hedge trimming: Trim the hedge growing along the fence, particularly the upper section. • Vine trimming: Cut back the vine growing over the garden arch, especially the upper growth. • Leaf removal: Clear dead leaves and garden debris, particularly down the side of the house. • Side-of-house tidy-up: Trim back overgrown plants and remove weeds from the ground along the side of the house. • Garden bed tidy-up: Remove leaf debris and weeds from the garden beds. • Plant feeding: Apply suitable fertiliser and soil feed to the roses and garden beds, and treat the lemon and lime tree as necessary • Tree removal: Remove a small dead camellia tree. • Garden bed border repair: Re-secure the plastic garden bed edging that has come loose and become unpinned from the ground along the grass. • Front yard tidy-up: The front yard is generally in good shape, but the small grass patch needs weeding, a rogue rose stem needs to be removed from the root, and there are a few other minor tidy-up jobs to complete. I’m looking for someone who is knowledgeable and capable in the garden. If you could give us any advice as you work re how to maintain the plants, trees and lawn, we would be very grateful.
