Hi, looking to construct a small brick retaining wall (about 1 metre) in a garden bed. We already have bricks on hand.

Trenc is sand easy to dig,it's about 8 metres long, then I need some sand back fill again also level small area by shifting sand happy to pay hourly rate long as it takes.

Need to remove capping and top course of sandstone blocks on retaining wall and then relay capping on next course down around pool and take two courses down outside pool. Using trench shovels and perhaps your hands as well, you will need to shovel a fair bit of sand and little rocks out of a trench drain and into a wheel barrow or buckets. Length of trench is about 12m. See photo. Wheel barrow or buckets are supplied. Shovels can be supplied if you don't have the tools. I have estimated it will take a maximum of two hours work for one person. Therefore, 2 hours at $60 per hour, the fixed price is $120. If the job takes less than 2 hours, you still get paid $120. If the job takes longer, you get paid an extra $30 for every half an hour over time. Suits 2 people or more. Or else one person can do it. We have bags of soil that need to be loaded into a skip bin. Starting 8am tomorrow. Also there is some basic gardening to do. This involves laying down week matting. 6 hours work max.

Hedging services required. Two hedges one inside in backyard needs to be at fence level height & one outside needs ink the top (which I could not reach) to be done. I want to raise the angle/height of my driveway and widen it to make it usable for my car. I'm assuming this would require either a retaining wall and/or concrete formwork. Per the pictures the lowest point of the driveway nearest the house probably needs to be raised by around 1m. There is an existing concrete drive under the timber/stones shown in the pictures. The existing concrete seems to be in reasonable condition. Keen to hear ideas / options.
