A strong fit person required! We are having our terrace shortened by a concrete cutter on Wednesday. To prepare for this we need 1) some pavers lifted up and 2) the crusher dust underneath them moved to a place without pavers, a couple of metres away and 3) then pavers put on top of this to fill a place that didn’t have pavers. 4) I will also need some help marking the line for the concrete cutter. I am really hoping to get someone who I can just instruct at the beginning and leave to it, so if you have some experience, that would be awesome. We would also require you to wear a mask whenever inside the residence, which should only be when coming and going, as all the work is outside. It’s probably about 5-7 hours work and I am happy to pay $50 an hour, but must be done on Tuesday. If you would be interested, please get in touch.

We need a task done this week. At present there is a rock wall in our back yard, built in the 70’s, put together with a small amount of mortar and river stones (that frequently loosen) that needs to be taken down. The stones then need to be placed in a pile at the bottom and the dirt moved to create a sloping earth section rather than a retained one. Gravity is going to help a lot with this job! It will be messy, if this rain keeps up it could be quite muddy and dirty work. The retaining wall is about 10 metres long and there is quite a bit of soil behind it. We were hoping for two or three airtaskers who could come on the same day. Or separately? The work will need to be done with shovels, pick, sledge hammer as the space is too small for a mini excavator or something similar. There is also a plumbing line, we need to work around. You would need to bring your own safety glasses, gloves and sturdy work boots or gum boots. If you’re fit and willing we would love the help, as it is a bigger job than my husband and I are fit enough to do. I imagine it will take 2-3 people about 8 hours to do. So it might be a day or a day and a half’s work depending on how many people or what time availability they have. It could even be a longer job for one person, but we want it done by Friday. We are happy to pay an hourly rate. Negotiable on price. It’s not work that requires any landscaping skills. My husband and I will be around to help guide you towards the outcome we need to achieve. But we do want people who we can just leave to it for the most part who will just go for it and get it done.
