I’m looking for a photographer or videographer to attend a corporate speaking session for around 1 hour. I’m an indie singer songwriter and have a performance for a community event in Springvale on Sunday! Would like to capture some photos and videos for content. I’m an Australian filmmaker producing the second instalment of a documentary-style video series on the 1966 Westall UFO incident, widely regarded as one of Australia’s largest reported mass UFO sightings. The first film in the series has received over 230,000 views and continues to grow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZP-x4Ko_JI For this follow-up, I will be interviewing additional primary witnesses who were present on the day, including individuals who were in close proximity to the reported objects, as well as other relevant contributors. This instalment will primarily consist of interview-style shoots at witnesses’ homes across Melbourne. Project Details: • Location: Melbourne, VIC • Shoot duration: 1-2 days • Format: Sit-down documentary interviews (in-home settings) • Some light B-roll at interview locations • Potential additional pickup shots depending on the schedule Witnesses are located in different areas across Melbourne, so travel between locations will be required. What I’m Looking For: • Experienced documentary or long-form interview videographer • Strong lighting skills for in-home environments • Ability to create a clean, cinematic, but natural look • Comfortable setting up controlled audio (lapel + backup) • Own professional camera and lighting equipment • Experience with multi-camera setups preferred (but not mandatory) Tone is important: This is not sensational content. The style should feel serious, restrained, and investigative. Similar to high-quality broadcast documentary interviews. Deliverables: • Professionally shot interview footage (log format preferred if applicable) • Clean audio capture • Organised file handover at the end of each shoot day If you have experience shooting documentaries, investigative pieces, or high-end interviews, please share examples of similar work. Looking forward to collaborating on what will be an important follow-up to a widely viewed Australian documentary.
