Looking for someone to remove and patch 7 old evaporative air conditioning ceiling vents, plus repair damaged plaster around one power outlet. There are: 3 ceiling vents approx. 600 × 400 mm 4 ceiling vents approx. 480 × 480 mm Ceiling vent scope: Remove existing vent grilles Supply and install backing/support as required Supply and fit plasterboard patches Tape, base coat and top coat Sand smooth and leave ready for painting There is also one standard double power outlet in a bedroom where the plaster behind/around it has failed, causing the outlet to become loose and push partly into the wall. The outlet itself works fine and does not need electrical work. I just need the damaged plaster repaired so the outlet can be securely fixed back in place and sit flush with the wall again. No painting required. Looking for someone experienced with plaster ceiling and wall repairs who can leave everything flat, smooth and ready for painting. Please include all plastering materials in your quote.

One end of a wall-mounted double curtain rail (blockout + sheer) has pulled out of the plasterboard above a window. The top fixing has ripped out of the wall and damaged the plasterboard. I want the bracket repaired securely in the same position if possible and the wall patched around the fixing. Please bring suitable fixings for heavy curtains. If there is timber behind the wall above the window, I’d prefer the bracket fixed into that rather than just using new plasterboard anchors. Budget: $150 (happy to discuss if inspection shows extra work is genuinely needed).

Urgently need a handyman to repair plaster board holes

Looking for a painter to fix a few small plaster and paint touch-up jobs following a cabinet install. ​Likely work: ​Repair 2 x plaster wall holes (secure plaster, apply tape/patching, sand smooth). ​Paint over the patched wall areas. ​Ceiling Stain Touch-Up (issue causing the stain has been fixed). ​Touch up paint over the primed area to blend with the ceiling. ​Paint/finish the filled gap to match the surrounding ceiling edge I already have the matching spare paint for both the walls and ceiling.
