Supply & install shelving – utility cupboard + laundry Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to supply and install simple shelving in two areas of my apartment. 1. Utility cupboard Cupboard is approx. 65 cm wide × 58 cm deep × 235 cm high. I’d like approximately 4 full-depth shelves plus one shallower upper shelf, or similar depending on what works best in the space. There is existing internet/data and electrical equipment in the cupboard which needs to remain accessible, so shelving will need to be positioned around this. I’m only looking for basic, functional shelving for general household storage — no need for expensive timber or a cabinetry-quality finish. Walls are plasterboard/gyprock, so shelves will need to be appropriately and securely supported. 2. Laundry Supply and install two simple open shelves on the wall above the laundry sink/splashback (see photo). Thinking basic shelf boards with brackets rather than cabinetry. Shelves should be securely fixed into studs/appropriate structural fixing. Happy for you to recommend the most practical shelf dimensions/materials based on the spaces. I would like to get a mirror hung up on a bedroom wall, it’s from IKEA and does have hooks,but unsure if they will do the job. 60x170cm. Also I have two post card frames I want secured to a wall. Also have anchors for the frames.

Instead of drilling holes every time I want to hang a picture, I’m hoping to install picture rails instead. The walls are solid brick and will require a hammer drill and some precision. I’d prefer the rails to be flush with the ceiling join than be level. 3 rails in total, each 2m long. This can be done Wed, Thurs or Fri.
