I’m getting a freestanding fireplace put into our living room. I need a bricklayer to build a brick fireplace plinth for the fireplace to sit on (approx 1200x1000) and extend the plinth out to become a slim bench running alongside of the living room wall (Approx. 350 high by 350 depth). Also needing approx a 1200x500 tile/hearth to extend directly in front of the fireplace, inset into the timber floor, directly in front of the brick plinth. What are currently constructing this home and will need to have the fireplace installed before the scaffolding is removed as the roof will be safely inaccessible after that to be able to complete the flue.
