We’ve decided to proceed with replacing our front door based on the previous quote you provided and would appreciate an updated quote reflecting the final specifications. The new door is 1200mm wide x 2400mm high x 45mm thick Tasmanian oak (to be supplied by us). It will replace the existing door, which is 1200mm wide x 2350mm high x 40mm thick, and we’d like to retain the existing frame. Before finalising the order, we’d appreciate your clarification on the following points. If there are no issues, we’ll proceed with the order and confirm your availability: Can the new 45mm thick door be installed in place of the current 40mm door without issue? The new door is slightly taller – are you able to trim the bottom on site? Ideally, this would allow you to adjust for both the extra height (2400mm vs. 2350mm) and the fact that the existing door appears slightly short by 5–10mm. Please supply suitable heavy-duty hinges/brackets, preferably in black, to support the weight of the new door. We’ll supply an electric lock – can you carry out the required cutouts and installation? We’ll also supply the pull handles for both sides of the door – could you please install these? Lastly, could you cut up the existing door into manageable pieces for us to dispose of? One of the door panels in the living room has fallen off. The sliding door hanger became loose, causing the door panel to fall off. I’m not sure if the part on the door panel still fits.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Doors jambs appear to be standard size 2040 x 820 however the odd door may need some minor trimming. It's an old house, not much is square, so i cant rule it out is all im saying. Existing door jambs are metal with 2 internal welded hinges (house built in 1979). See attached pictures. I am not sure if an additional hinge will be required to support the extra weight of these solid core doors. I propose to install with larger/stronger screws using existing 2 hinges first then assess if it seems OK. I think it will be. For example 10G 30mm. The door jamb are very solid as all walls including internal are block/brick. As the door core is particleboard, you must ensure to always drill appropriate pilot holes first. Internal hollow door replacement

One of the window in the second floor is leaking from the frame, suspected is from damage roof tile. In addition, I also need the same person to inspect the ceiling whether there is any other hole in the roof.
