Sweep the existing concrete path. Nothing on the path or the red edge. Water in. Take away pots, concrete and rubbish. Street tree rules Hand work only. No machinery, no augers, no compacting. Do not cut roots thicker than a thumb. Do not strip soil under the canopy. A maple hole, hedge holes and a thin topsoil layer are fine. I’d like to clear the overgrown pot plants and clean the moss off the pavers. Some of the pots can be relocated but a fair bit of greenery/ pots will need to be tipped. Most of the moss can be cleared with a shovel but would be great to also blast with a gurney. Note that the property is on a hill, and some of the pots will be heavy. Street access isn’t great.
