The set is currently used outdoors on a deck but has developed mould from exposure, so it needs a full restoration to make it durable for permanent outdoor use in Sydney’s weather. Specific requirements: • Thoroughly sand back the entire table top, legs, and all surfaces of the 8 chairs to remove mould, old finish, and any imperfections. • Apply a fresh lacquer or varnish coat for a smooth, natural wood finish (prefer a semi-gloss or matte that’s suitable for timber like teak). • Waterproof the entire set with a high-quality outdoor sealant or oil to protect against rain, UV, and humidity – it must be weatherproof for year-round outdoor placement. • Attach small carpet or felt squares (non-slip pads) to the bottom of all table legs and chair legs to prevent scratching the composite decking.

Need to assemble a dining table and 6 chairs Dining table comes in 3 pieces: top, leg, base. Legs come pre assembled. Need to just screw them all together. Chairs come in 2 pieces each: chairtop and legs. Each chair needs 4 screws. With the righ tool, this job shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to finish.
