Hi, I’m moving out soon and need a quote for two minor end-of-lease repairs in Sydney: 1. Carpet burn / damaged area from an iron 2. Paint wear / scuffing on a metal door frame I’m looking for someone experienced in carpet patch repair and end-of-lease touch-up work. I’d like to get a quote first before confirming. Please include: • whether patch / touch-up is possible instead of full replacement • your suggested method • approximate price • before / after photos of similar work, if available The goal is to make it acceptable for end-of-lease inspection — not perfect, just not too noticeable. I need a carpet patch repair. I don't have spare carpet I'll need someone to look at the carpet in person and help me find something as close as possible. Two sperate spots, each about 30cm x 40cm. New carpet has been layed. One bedroom door needs to be trim/shaved/sanded a few millmetres off the bottom as it's catching the new carpet.

We had some new carpet installed, and now 2 x bedroom doors are dragging on the carpet when they open and close. We need the doors raised so they no longer drag on the carpet. They can still be opened and closed, it's just dragging, so should only need to be raised a little bit.

The carpet in the main bedroom has frayed where it meets the door. There is also a small hole (10c piece) that needs patching. We have extra carpet that can be used to patch these areas.

Hi, I renovated 15 yeas ago. Having carpet layed in my bedrooms. At the time the floor boards very soft in areas and the builder laid some type of tin product over parts on the floor …. I didn’t need new boards in the bedrooms. Now… I can feel a floor board is broken in another area. Hoping the carpet can be lifted and the area fixed.
