Looking for a reliable handyman to help me get my pool fence up to standard for council compliance. Jobs are all straightforward and materials can be discussed. Images: 1. Shows timber fence posts which being that need the wedge x2 2. Image of gap between bottom of fence and glass just over 100mm 3. Image of locking hinge that needs adjustment 4. Image of gap more than 10mm at hinge Tasks: • Install a triangle-shaped timber wedge on top of two fence posts to stop them being used as steps. • Adjust the pool gate hinge so it can’t be used as a step (either move the hinge or add a simple safety cap). • Block a gap at the bottom of the gate or fence so there’s no opening bigger than 100mm (suggest mesh, timber, or similar, just not climbable —happy for your ideas). • Make sure the gate swings shut and latches by itself (may just need adjustment). We have 3 glass fence panels we will need removed and then re-installed as well as a few others installed and fitted accordingly. There will be one door installed inbetween the two pillars in the picture. We will obviously purchase the extra glass panels once they are measured up by who ever can install. Money is for labour to install.

We need to update our pool fence around the spa as it’s been 4 years. The inspectors has raised these comments which we need help to complete. Identified non-compliances: 1. The pool fence/ barrier and/or gate/s have gaps more than 100mm which could potentially lead to unrestricted access into the pool area. 2. The hinges on the pool gate/barrier are less than 900mm apart from the top of the bottom hinge to the top of the top hinge and/or are within NCZ with a surface depth of more than 10 mm and have an opening between the gate post and the gate stile of more than 10 mm which could be used as a potential footing to gain access into the pool area. 3. The pool gate is not self-closing or self-latching as it does not automatically operate on the closing of the gate and prevents the gate from being re- opened without being manually releasing it. 4. There are objects or vegetation in one the non-climbable zones NCZ which could potentially be used as a footing to gain access into the pool area. 5. There are objects/ vegetation within the 900mm non-climbable zone which could allow access in to the pool area. I think they are also asking us to move the chairs away from around the glass etc.

Looking for a reliable handyman to help fix several non-compliant issues from a pool safety barrier inspection. Tasks include: - Fix gaps under pool fencing – install treated pine, concrete plinth or solid material to ensure no gaps >100mm - Increase fence height – raise the left side timber fence to at least 1200mm, or reduce the ground level where required - Remove climbable objects – trim horizontal tree branches and clear items within 1200mm of the external fence line - Cover horizontal rails – install additional palings at boundary fence intersections (left & right) to eliminate footholds - Restrict window openings – install devices to limit openings to 125mm or less - Fix rear door – remove hold-open bracket, ensure door self-closes and latches properly, and raise latch height to 1500mm if required Materials not supplied — please include them in your quote if possible. A site visit can be arranged for clarity.

My glass pool fence is too short, need a taller one replaced. The length needed to be replaced is approx. 4.8m. including one door.

Glass Pool Fencing Adjustment required. We had some pipes repaired under our glass pool fence but having some troubles getting one glass panel back into one spigot and aligning 2 other Glass panels. Looking to complete asap.
