Hi, I’m looking for a licensed plumber to replace my existing kitchen tap setup. Currently there are two separate hot and cold taps. I would like to replace them with one single kitchen mixer tap with a pull-out spray hose. Scope of work: * Remove the existing two separate taps * Install one new single-hole kitchen mixer with pull-out spray * Connect hot and cold water * Install/replace any necessary isolation valves and adapters * Check for leaks and make sure everything is working properly I will supply the new mixer tap myself. Looking for an experienced bricklayer / handyman to repair and rebuild an unstable section of brick steps on the side of the house. There are approximately 4–5 affected steps, around 1.3 m wide, on a fairly steep slope. Several tread/riser bricks and edge bricks have become loose and are starting to collapse. There has also been soil erosion underneath the steps, which appears to have contributed to the movement. The original source of the erosion/water issue has already been fixed. The job is to: - Carefully remove the loose/unstable bricks - Rebuild and stabilise the base underneath the affected section - Reuse the existing bricks where possible - Rebuild the affected steps in the same existing layout and position - Reset and mortar the bricks securely - Rebuild/stabilise the affected edge bricks as required - Match the existing mortar colour and joint style as closely as practical - Supply all required materials, including mortar/cement, sand and any suitable base/fill material required The existing bricks appear to be reusable. Access to the side of the house is straightforward. I am happy to handle general clean-up and disposal of broken mortar/debris after the work is completed. The main priority is to make the existing steps stable, solid and safe again, rather than redesigning them. Please confirm in your quote: - Your experience with brick step / retaining brick repairs - Whether all materials are included - Whether you believe the affected section needs to be partially or fully dismantled before rebuilding - Your estimated time to complete the job I’d also attach the photo you uploaded, because it makes the scope much clearer and should improve the quality of the quotes.
