Hi, I want to move my hot water system from controlled load (Tariff 31) to general supply, and install a timer so it runs during the day using solar. (With a timer rated for hot water load)

I have solar + battery and my hot water is currently on Controlled Load 1. My battery is often full and I export a lot during the day. I also tested by turning OFF the MAIN SWITCH – HWS breaker, but I still saw a large grid usage spike at night (around 11pm), so it seems the hot water may be directly connected to the controlled load/grid supply. Can you quote to move the hot water service from Controlled Load to general supply so it can use solar and battery first? Please also let me know if meter/tariff changes with Energex are required.

I need to put 5-6 power point

Last night our garage door stopped working and we checked the fuse box and found a fuse flicked to the off position. Half the houses power points don’t work now. We have since unplugged all items from power in our house but the fuse will not flick back on.
