I have an old telephone that I want re-wired to connect to a landline socket. Wiring needs to follow Australian wiring standards and be safe. The converter I bought (see photos) works and I can receive calls but the phone is not making ring sound. The telephone needs 50 cycle telephone ring voltage to ring phone bell. Skills / Experience Required: • Licensed electrician or registered cabler (required in Australia for phone socket work)  • Experience with RJ-11 telephone wiring and older phone jacks / legacy phone plugs  • Knowledge of Australian phone wire colour coding and safe installation practices  • Ability to test for a dial tone and ensure the line is working after rewiring Location: Sunshine West

You just need to rewire the live wires to the switch board as it’s incomplete, that turn on the chandalier, downlights, and outside light, so 3 switches total, should be a 10 minute job, I have other work I may need done if price is good, 2 floodlights and a wall mirror mounted

I am renovating my kitchen/dining area and have removed all the cabinets/appliances and some small walls in the area. Now the area is totally empty. The wires in the area are disconnected now like this (as shown in the photos). Now the plumber job is done and I need kitchen rewiring before closing the drywalls and ceiling. The position of the new oven and cooktop are almost the same as the previous kitchen. The job this time doesn't include the installation of appliances ( Cooktop and Oven) as I haven't bought them yet but needs the wires prepared for them. Some existing power points need repositioning. I need some additional power points, too. I assume you have to come first to inspect to find out what has to be done. So probably 2 visits are required. I don't know how long the job takes. It is a small townhouse and the kitchen/dining area is not big and part of the ceiling and walls already don't have dry walls so access to wires is easy but still a block of time will be needed. The electrician who did disconnecting wires is busy this week.
