Hello, We are looking for a licensed QLD electrician to attend our retail store, in Westfield Helensvale, to diagnose and repair flickering ceiling lights. The Issue: Three recessed LED downlights in our main optometry room are persistently flickering. This is highly disruptive for our optometrists and patients during eye examinations and needs to be resolved promptly. Approximate ceiling height : 4 meters The Job: The task is to find the root cause of the flickering and perform the necessary repairs to ensure stable, constant light. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the ceiling (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Diagnosing the cause of the flickering. This could be faulty LED units, failing drivers/transformers, a loose connection, or an issue with the switch/dimmer. 3. Supplying and installing any necessary replacement parts (e.g., new LED downlights, drivers, or repairing wiring). 4. Testing the lights thoroughly to confirm the flickering is resolved and they are operating correctly. Please note: The successful contractor must be able to source and supply any required replacement parts as part of their service. The cost for these parts should be included in your offer. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured QLD Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including a suitable A-frame ladder for a standard commercial ceiling. - Experience with diagnosing faults in commercial LED lighting systems is essential. We need some new style downlights installed in our apartment & a led strip wire reconnected. Detail: Installing downlights - The downlights in the apartment need to be changed over to the new style (powerpoint installed in ceiling and plugged in). Need 9 installed in total. 4 installed in the kitchen, 1 at the end of the hallway (next to kitchen), 1 in the laundry, 1 outside the bathroom, and 2 in the bathroom (there is currently only 1 light in the bathroom, need another one added next to it). It is a fairly small apartment and there are access manholes in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The furthest light from any manhole is only about 4 metres away. LED Strip A few years ago we attached a piece of timber that has an LED strip attached to it to the ceiling bulkhead but it fell off recently. When it came down the wires to the LED strip snapped and broke. Have secured the piece of timber properly this time, just need an electrician to reconnect the wires. Have purchased the new downlights and they are ready to go. You will need to bring anything else such as cables and the powerpoints to be installed in the ceiling. Ask any questions if more clarification needed.

Must have a big ladder. Fans to be replaced are in a 4m heigh Ceiling. Already have Fans. Will need to come and quite on downlights.
