Looking for an experienced garage door technician to diagnose and repair my B&D automatic garage door. Issue: ● The automatic opener has stopped working over the last 2 days. ● The door opens and closes easily when operated manually, so it doesn’t appear to be jammed. ● The motor/remote isn’t opening the door automatically (needs diagnosis). Looking for someone with experience repairing B&D garage doors and automatic openers who can troubleshoot the issue and, if possible, fix it on the spot. The Garage Door channel needs to be adjusted/ realigned close to the ceiling. The operating/ sliding mechanism nerds to be moved up, so it sits closer to the ceiling. Happy for someone to come inspect,discuss a possible solution and quote.

One of the lift cables has detached completely from the drum/bracket area. We need our sectional roller door to be repaired . It won’t roll all the way down. It gets stuck with a metre to go. Our original installer has closed his business down. We would also like at the same time do general servicing of it.

Looking for someone to wire a small smart home device (ratgdo32) to my Merlin MS65MYQ garage door opener in Miranda. The device is already purchased and the firmware is already installed — I just need someone to physically wire it up and mount it to the opener. The opener is ceiling mounted so you will need to bring a ladder. What's involved: • Connect 3 wires (red, white, black) from the ratgdo32 to the opener's terminal block • Mount the ratgdo32 to the opener rail using the included clip holster • Plug the ratgdo32 into USB power (powerpoint is right next to the opener) The job is straightforward — only 3 wires, no pass-through connectors, no wall button wiring. Full written instructions and photos of the actual terminal block will be provided. The orange pass-through connectors on the ratgdo32 are not used. Then area under the garage doors need to be levelled with self leveling concrete (only a small layer) to make it look clean. There might be some minor grinding required in case clearance from bottom is required. Also gaps around garage doors will need to be sealed properly using rubber strip and between door and floor.
