After an NBN fibre installation, one of my network points (connected to a UniFi AC Pro) has stopped working. I believe the issue is at the end where the NBN installers worked.Task steps a) Check wiring & connection at the unaffected end (installer used T-568A standard if I remember correctly).b) Access roof space to locate the cable (I know where to go). Cut the cable in the roof and terminate with a new RJ45 connector. Test connectivity to the living room point. C) use the network cable I provide to connect from my UniFi switch in the roof (1 non-PoE port available) to a PoE injector /Connect the repaired RJ45 cable to the PoE injector /Plug the PoE injector into a power source in the same area. I will provide Network cable/PoE injector & power supply/ladder. You will need Tools for RJ45 termination and testing. If the work is not as I have specified and need to lay a full cable etc then you can advise at that point and we can agree on the price

Looking for a licensed electrician to complete a few small installations in a single-storey home (built in 2021) in Port Noarlunga. Building plans can be provided if needed. Scope of work: Install 1 GPO with TV antenna socket in a bedroom (existing antenna already in place — this is just an additional outlet). Install 1 ceiling light point with switch in a small hallway (currently no existing light). Install an LED strip light in the alfresco ceiling recess, projecting upward to provide soft indirect lighting. Install 3 or 4 ceiling-mounted light points in the garage, projecting light upward. This replaces the previous plan for LED strip lighting in that area. All work must comply with relevant electrical standards, and a compliance certificate is required upon completion.
