I’m looking for an electrician to install 8 GU10 recessed downlights in a room I have already purchased: * 8 white GU10 gimbal downlight fittings * 8 GU10 smart bulbs * Double light switch The job involves: * installing the 8 downlights * replacing the switch * testing everything is working. The room is approximately 4.9 m × 3.1 m. I’d like 5 lights on one side of the room to highlight a feature wall, and 3 lights on the other side for normal room lighting. There is no roof access above this room, so please factor that into your quote. If possible, I’d appreciate pricing for: * all lights on one switch, and * the 5/3 layout on two switches. I’m looking for a licensed electrician to remove the existing fluorescent strip light from my kitchen ceiling and install four supplied dimmable LED downlights. Scope of work Remove the existing fluorescent strip light and associated fittings. Dispose of the old fitting and fluorescent tubes. Recommend the best positioning and spacing for four downlights to provide even lighting throughout the kitchen. Cut the required ceiling openings and install four supplied Lucci LEDlux Vivid dimmable downlights: 11W 700 lumens Warm white, 3000K 85mm cut-out **Please note: ceiling is plaster, not concrete. Supply and install any additional cable, plugs, connectors or other electrical components required to complete the installation safely. Supply and install a new white dimmer switch and matching white wall plate, replacing the existing switch in the same location. Test all lights and the dimmer to ensure they are operating correctly. Provide the required Certificate of Electrical Safety/Compliance once the work is complete. There is no ceiling hatch or roof access. The apartment is on Level 1 of a two-storey building, with another apartment directly above, so the electrician will need to assess how the new wiring can be installed within the existing ceiling cavity. In the kitchen downstairs I have 3 lights that arent working. Id like to take 2 lights from upstairs and install 1 new one to replace these 3. Upstairs, I'd like to install 2 dimmable lights in to the ones that have been taken for the kitchen, and will need the switch to be replaced to control dimming for those 2 lights.
