Title: Need electrician to replace bathroom downlight (new light purchased) Hi, I’m looking for someone to help replace a downlight in my bathroom. The old one stopped working, so I purchased a new downlight and it fits the existing ceiling cut-out. However, the connection on the new light appears to be different from the old one, so I’m not sure if it’s suitable or if I need to purchase a different type with the same connection as the original. Ideally, I’d like someone who can Install the new downlight if it’s compatible. I have also attached a picture of the old downlight connection which appears to be different thus can you please first advise (on here if possible) whether I need a different one. Thank you

Hi. I'm looking to have 3 DC ceiling fans installed in bedrooms. They will be replacing a downlight so will be the combined fan/light model (haven't bought them yet). Happy with just the remote - don't need a wall control. I am on the ground floor of a 2 story unit block so don't have access to the ceiling space. Standard 2.4m ceiling. For the downlight, it's in a bathroom and it looks like a wire has come loose so hopefully an easy fix. Very happy to provide photos to help you quote, or answer any other questions you may have.
