I'm looking for a mural artist to paint a large-scale botanical fern mural across the full length of a brick wall in my backyard in Reservoir (9.6x2.8m), running continuously including under a carport roof. The vision The mural is part of a broader backyard transformation into a native Australian rainforest clearing. The painted wall will sit behind dense real fern planting — the intention is that the boundary between painted and real plants becomes ambiguous. It needs to feel botanical, considered and immersive rather than decorative. I've attached an AI generated render as a compositional guide only — it's indicative not instructive. I want the artist to bring their own interpretation to the style, rendering and colour. What matters is the plant language: Australian natives only. Dicksonia antarctica tree ferns, soft ferns, maidenhair, bird's nest fern. No tropical plants, no flowers, no colour outside the green spectrum. I’m looking to work closely with someone who is able to execute my vision to life. I’m in the process of creating a clothing brand and I’m looking to create 4 to 5 pieces. I am no designer however I do have inspiration and ideas that I would like to execute and discuss. The person I work closely with I look to continue to work with on this project long-term.
