We want to extend our deck (area previously had a spa in it that has now been removed). -The existing decking is composite decking (we believe it is ModWood Natural Grain Silver Gum). -There is an existing concrete slab in the area for the deck extension. -Dimensions for the new deck area: approx 2.5 x 3.5 metres. -We would also like to replace the decking boards in an area adjacent to the decking area due to damage from the previous spa fence (see photo with red area circled). We can supply the ModWood decking boards. Open to feedback on budget/site visits.

Looking for someone experienced with decking repairs to fix a small section of composite decking that has warped/lifted. As shown in the photo, a few boards have bowed upwards and there is a noticeable gap between boards. I suspect the boards may need to be lifted and re-secured, likely tree caused by tree root.

The structure is fine, but the front edges and joins look untidy, so I want aluminium stair nosing installed along the curved front edge of each step to create a clean, modern finish and improve safety. Looking for someone to clean, prepare and oil two small outdoor timber decks. Total area is approximately 8–10 m². Deck 1 – Lightwell: Approx. 1m x 2m. Clear and pull back climbing vines that are encroaching onto the decking boards and fence line. Clean and prepare the timber. Deck 2 – Courtyard: Approx. 1.8m x 3m. Clear surface dirt and prepare the timber. Cleaning/Prep: Wash and scrub both decks using an appropriate deck cleaner to remove dirt, mildew and grey weathering. Allow the timber to dry thoroughly before oiling. Oiling: Apply two coats of suitable decking oil, following the manufacturer's recommended drying time between coats. Materials: Please include all deck cleaner, decking oil and other consumable materials required for the job in your quote. Access: Both decks are ground-level with straightforward access. Water and power are available. The main priority is a clean, neat and well-prepared finish rather than extensive restoration of the timber.

Need 2 timber decks sanded and oiled. Size is around 15m2 and timber is spotted gum.

Full replacement of 4m x 2m deck- joists and decking boards. Leaning towards spotted gum for boards. Removal of old deck. There’s a split system fan unit sitting on the current deck that will need to be moved/suspended, perhaps disconnected to enable works. Also, a simple roof of the same size to be replaced, above the deck. Colorbond or Laserlite sort of deal, roof is pretty high up so might require scissor lift and harness setups for safety reasons so high up!

Develop a scope of work and a material list for the following:-Remove dispose of and and replace existing decking boards on first floor balcony. Also remove and dispose of 2x planter boxes situated along northern edge of the deck. Decked area measures approximately 5M x 4M x 3M. Material to be used is Merbau 90mm planks with 2 x stainless steel decking screws into each floor joist. A protective membrane is to be installed atop each floor joist under the decking boards.
