Experienced handyman, with insurance, able to work at heights (small job replacing two deck sheets/roofing); sanding and painting around deck and front handrail, as follows. 1. Purchase and replace a two suntuf solar grey sheets on deck roofing (Sheets available from Bunnings - https://www.bunnings.com.au/suntuf-solar-grey-2-4m-polycarbonate-roofing_p1015729 2. Paint around deck ledges, deck stairs, small walls and poles under house, and hand rail (4 Litre Tin of Paint already purchased - Colour 'Monument') 3. Repair single deck beam if needed (fill and paint), which is a bit water damaged due to leaking suntuf roofing (thus needing to replace suntuf sheets). A few pictures attached. (Areas to be painted etc. marked with blue.)

Please refer to attached pics of my deck. The deck dimensions are 6800 (L) x 3800 (W). The deck needs to be prepared for ceramic tiling onto blueboard so that under deck storage is dry. This is what is required for this job: (1) punch down all lifted deck nails (refer pic). (2) lay Blueboard only on deck surface using silicon adhesive and blueboard sheet tacs, NOTE: The blueboard needs to be raised at house brick wall and laid with a small tilt towards wire balustrade to ensure water runoff (refer pic). You will need to supply blueboard. I will supply silicon adhesive and deck nails.

We need a total of 44.5m2 of James Hardie AXON cladding added to under our house. This includes enclosing underneath a deck area (See photos). I have attached detailed drawings showing dimensions etc. To complete our job you will need to supply: - Your own tools (Including saw with blade for cutting cement sheets) - All fixings (Screws or nails) - James Hardie approved sealant for between sheets (I have one tube here) - James Hardie Aluminum external and internal corners to join sheets at corners - Pine framing material to support behind cladding (These can be fixed to existing steel posts and you may need additional supports every 400mm in between) Some can be normal framing pine, under deck needs to be Treated pine. Mum’s backyard deck and wooden bench needs to be restained as it has started to fade and show the bare timber. The deck wraps around the back of the house and there is also a spa area too. Need decking cleaned, some parts need sanding back and Re staining with decking oil. Total area about 50 metres square of which 25 metres square is in mostly good condition. Remaining smaller bits are exposed to weather and are worn in patches.

Outdoor decking needs repairs, sanding and staining..The repair work is minimal, some slats need to be screwed down I've already started on the worse ones, and one slat needs to be replaced. Deck is aged but structurally sound (built on concrete). We plan to re-surface the whole deck next year, so this current smaller task would allow us to entertain on existing deck surface this summer. For now, some deck board ends are weathered to the point where the nails don’t hold them down any more and they require replacement. There are a few gaps between the shrunken ends of decking boards, which although structurally sound could grab the heel of a ladies’ shoe. Additionally some nails stick up a bit now and should be hammered down, to protect little feet. We believe a day would do it. These are standard 70 mm decking planks - perhaps mirbu. We do have spare second hand 70mm planks, probably black box. We imagine a circular saw and nail gun would be handy. - Due date: Before Sunday, 19 November 2023
