We would like a deck installed in our back yard. It will be fixed to an already existing concrete slab which is 100mm thick. Part of the deck will extend past the slab a few hundred mm in one direction. I've already purchased the 90x45 treated pine, adjustable joist brackets to level the frame, the decking boards/fascia boards and all necessary screws for the decking. The decking is in 5.4 metre lengths x 140mm wide x 25mm depth. We would like it to be a picture frame deck. We haven't decided on 45 degree angle cuts or herringbone in the corners but we can discuss at a later date. The deck will have no joins as the installed boards will be less than 5.4 metres. We would like top of the deck to match the height of the floorboards inside for a seamless transition. I've consulted the council and sorted all of that stuff out. I've attached photos of an outline of the deck, the klevaklip adjustable joints and decking boards. I've done my best to provide as much information as possible but if you have any questions please ask. This task will most likely need to be done on a weekend.
