I have a Homodoskey POS cash drawer with an RJ11/RJ12-style 6-position cable. The cash drawer itself works, but the cable needs to be rewired/re-terminated to the correct pinout so it can be triggered by my Star receipt printer. I specifically need the drawer trigger connection changed to pin 2. I have a laptop that is running high temps during basic game play. Emails/web browsing doesn't affect temps. Updated, turned off/on, troubleshooting states no issues. Afterburner MSI worked for a while to combat temps at optimised/balanced level, now not up to task. Removed bottom panel (and lost some screws) to see if inside needed scuzz removal - it didn't. Thermopaste is all I can think of as there seems to be no failing hardware.
