I bought an old iMac off marketplace and now I can’t use it. I’d like to reinstall it or happy to upgrade and get new version. I’m not tech savvy. I need an IT guru to come and help me. Just going to use this computer for my son for games.

I have a NVME SSD drive out of a A2116 iMac that has been removed and I will like the files extracted i.e documents, photos etc. See photo of the drive in question. I can supply another sata ssd to copy any files onto from the original drive

I am running Adobe programs daily on a Studio Mac and I am now getting messages like 'scratch disk full' and disc error etc. I have dumped so many large files but I don't think I am doing things correctly. I'm experienced on Mac (it's all I have used for 30 years) but with YouTube video's and all the recordings, I'm in a real muddle and don't think I'm dumping the right files.
