Hi, are you an ACMA-registered cabler? I’m looking to prepare an NBN FTTP fibre pathway at my house in Truganina. An NBN technician previously gave me a 20m AFL SCA-SCA 4.8mm premise fibre cable, but wouldn't access the ceiling/roof cavity. I want to run this existing cable from the outside NBN entry point, through the ceiling/roof cavity and through one room (around 4m) to the living room, where my existing NBN connection is. I need the pathway prepared so the NBN technician can use it for the FTTP installation. Do you have experience with NBN FTTP fibre pathways? And can you provide a fixed-price quote? If you're registered, could you also provide your cabler registration number?

I’ve recently upgraded my NBN connection to FTTP and need help diagnosing what appears to be a faulty Cat6 cable. Background: * The NBN box is located in my garage, single storey home. * My router is normally located in the living room. * There is an existing Cat6 cable run from the NBN box in the garage, through the adjacent wall, to the living room. * Before the FTTP upgrade, my internet worked perfectly using the previous NBN setup. * The NBN technician advised that the existing Cat6 cable is the likely cause of the issue. What I’ve already tested: * I connected my router directly to the NBN box in the garage using an Ethernet cable, and the internet works without any issues. * I’ve been using the internet this way temporarily by keeping the router in the garage, but the Wi-Fi coverage and internet speeds throughout the house drop significantly. * This indicates the router and FTTP connection are working correctly. The problem appears to be with the existing Cat6 cable run (or one of its terminations). What I need: * Diagnose the existing Cat6 cable using a cable tester. * Re-terminate the cable if the issue is with the connectors. * If the cable itself is faulty, replace it using the existing cable route (no new cable route required). Need help to run 2 x data cables in single storey roof space.

Looking for a licensed cabler to run a single Cat6 ethernet cable from the bedroom near the entry to the kitchen in my single storey home in Tarneit. Distance is approximately 5-6 metres on the ground. Cable will need to run through the roof cavity with wall plates at each end. There was an old NBN connection in Kitchen and new NBN fibre connection was set up in entry Bedroom. I am having trouble with wifi speed now. The purpose is to connect a second router in the kitchen for better wifi signals. Happy to discuss the best route on the day.
