Key responsibilities will be: Laundry (washing & using the drying then folding and putting on our bed) General cleaning (kitchen and two bathrooms) Changing sheets (once/fortnight & running them in our machine) Potentially dishes and ad hoc items (microwave, watering plants etc). All wash cloths, detergents and vaccuum are provided. All you need to bring is yourself. We are looking for someone we can trust while my partner works from home (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to come and help us out every week. Note we have two cats, but they are very chill. Young professional couple living in Southbank looking for a regular cleaner who ideally comes twice a week, every week. From one side we have high standards of what we expect, but from the other side, we are also incredibly easy to work with. I like everyone to stay in their lane. As long as the tasks get done I don’t care what time or date you come, how long you stay, etc. you don’t have to let me know in advance. I need someone I can trust who will get things done every week and need minimal follow up/oversight. I just ask that the housekeeper maintains a stringent attention to detail on their own in exchange for maximum flexibility and independence. I would like to politely reiterate that last point about attention to detail. I have parted ways with the most recent two because things were only getting done if I specifically asked and no ownership of tasks was taken. My perspective on this is that someone doesn’t follow me around at my own job to tell me what to do or monitor my performance…but even so I still have to deliver.
