We’re looking for an experienced exterior timber/decking specialist to clean, prepare and re-stain/oil the timber decking around our home in Bilgola Plateau. Areas include: * Small balcony/deck off the master bedroom * Main deck off the upstairs living area * Smaller downstairs deck * Decking around/near the fire-pit area * Timber boardwalk/walking deck through the garden The home is surrounded by established gardens/rainforest, so some areas are exposed to moisture, leaf litter and organic growth. Scope: * Inspect the existing timber and coating before starting * Thoroughly clean the decking and remove dirt, organic growth, mildew/algae and weathering as appropriate * Use timber-safe cleaning methods and products — we do not want the timber aggressively pressure washed or damaged * Prepare the surface appropriately for refinishing, including light sanding where required * Re-stain/oil the decking to restore and protect the timber * Protect surrounding stone, painted surfaces, plants and landscaping * Leave all areas clean on completion We would like the finished timber to look natural, matte and understated rather than glossy, orange or heavily stained. Sand & stain 15 x 4 metre deck

10 to 15 yr old kitchen benchtop assumed engineered stone, originally cream / beige colour. Not sure what tenants did to cause heavily stained grey stains next to sink, think top surface has crazed in spots, hoping someone can fix rather than replace. I know $100 is unrealistic. Unit is vacant Benchtop approx 600 deep x 2100 long with 300 return, then other 600 deep x 900 wide (Stove in-between). Happy to remove sink if that helps.

You must be a certified painter , hold current licences and have own insurance . Car park is at McCarrs creek reserve , no charge and toilet and shower facilities , water access is on land . ( however some water available and toilet access on board if required) Access to boat provided from land side from wharf at Mc Carrs creek reserve. Most importantly is that to possess a sense of humour as it is truely a small area to work on , to be flexible with availability over weekends or some dates early December during the week. However , Preferably a Sat or sun before then . Month of September most week ends would be ideal . We are making 16 custom designed stainless steel umbrella shade structures for a customer. We need a person to come to our factory to MIG and TIG weld the components. Each umbrella has a baseplate with fins, and 4 adjustable length arms. All the components have been drilled and cut to size.
