I have an area above my stove where a ducted rangehood used to be. (Pic A) I would like an extension of the adjacent kitchen cupboard built, so my electrician can install a pull-out rangehood beneath it. (Pic B) The approximate size is 155cm long and 80cm tall. The cupboard will have one shelf through the middle and glass doors to match existing cupboards. (Pic C) I have provided photos of the materials I would like used to match the existing layout. (Pic C) I would also like the hole in the ceiling to be sealed as part of this project. (Pic B) My electrician will replace the rangehood powerpoint once the cupboard is built so it needs to be accessible. (Pic B) Design and build needs to be compliant with safety standards for the distance of the bottom of the rangehood that will be installed to the stove surface. You will need to advise on that. I have attached detailed pictures to assist in assessing the job.
