Need an expert to provide option to fix bouncing timber floor at the corner of a room (approx 1 square meter of area), which has a visible gap between skirting board and the floor. House has subfloor access to inspect, and the area of concern is at the low side of the subfloor. Please offer with both quotes to fix the joists via either accessing from subfloor or via cutting through floorboards. Thank you!

Recently installed a https://www.humedoors.com.au/ranges/entrance/45-linear-entrance/314-xlr160 in sliced Pacific maple and want this to be stained in a natural/light stain for some UV protection but want it to mostly stay the same colour. Haven't decided it I want to paint the door jams/quads too. I've been advised by carpenter a clear varnish alone maynot be sufficient as the lines are MDF. Please advise what stain you recommend and I will inspect and supply.
