What I need I’m an artist making handmade wall art and I’m looking for an experienced carpenter, cabinet maker or skilled handyman to spend around 1–2 hours teaching me some practical finishing techniques. I already make my own pieces, but there are a few final woodworking steps I’m not experienced with yet, and I want to learn how to do them properly for a clean, professional finish. What I’d like to learn * How to safely and correctly use a router, including choosing the right bit, setting the depth and getting a clean edge. * The best way to finish and/or shape the edges of MDF/wood boards. * How to avoid chipping, splintering or damaging the surface. * The best hanging systems for artwork, depending on the size and weight of the piece. * How to correctly install D-rings, French cleats, keyhole hangers or other suitable systems. * How to position hangers so the artwork hangs perfectly level and securely. * Any professional tips or tricks that would give my pieces a more polished finish. I would prefer someone who is happy to teach and demonstrate while I do the work myself, rather than simply completing the jobs for me. I can provide my own materials/tools if required, and I’m happy to discuss exactly what I need beforehand. Looking for someone patient, experienced and practical who can teach me the right techniques rather than just do the work.

Replace timber door and architrave . I have the door , lock and architrave

Flat slab doors, minimal visible joins, soft-close hardware, concealed/finger-pull opening where possible, finished end panels and full-height fillers to ceiling. This will begin with an initial paid trial, with the opportunity to move into an ongoing part-time or full-time position for the right person. Scope of Work You will be responsible for preparing accurate joinery drawings for client approval and factory production, working from architectural plans, specifications, site measurements and project information. Looking for a cabinet installer to finish a small laundry installation. Everything is already purchased and ready: * 2 × 400mm floor units * 1 × 200mm floor unit * 1 × 800mm wall unit All cabinets are fully assembled, levelled and ready to be fixed to the wall. I only need someone with the right drill to drill through the hard tiled wall and securely fix the units. The benchtop has already been cut to size and is ready to be fixed in place. I also need the sink and tap openings cut into the benchtop, then the benchtop and sink installed and secured. Sink, materials and silicone are all already purchased and ready.
