I recently replaced the knock sensor (was an aftermarket one) on my 2009 Honda CR-V, but the ECU is still not receiving any signal from it and the engine light is still on. The sensor itself has just been changed, so it’s likely a wiring/connector issue or something else. Looking for an auto electrician to: Identify and repair any faults (wiring, harness, connector). Ensure proper signal is restored to the ECU so the check engine light can go off Car is located in Heidelberg Heights/Ivanhoe. Flexible with time, but sooner the better. If it's determined that wiring and everything else is fine, I am ok to replace the sensor with genuine one.

Hi there! Expression of interest… I have just recently bought a 1998 Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4 auto, unregistered and without a rwc. I need help servicing it and potentially doing a rwc pre inspection. I have a very tight budget and would like to learn how to service my car myself. I am looking for someone who is willing to run me through the basic steps of servicing a car and also to give me a basic rundown of where each part is and how it works. I have access to an online manual for my car which i have been reading through. In all honesty (in my not so expert opinion) i believe shes in quite a good condition as she has been owned by 2 mechanics in the last 3 years. I am aware that doing a full in depth service can be a lot of work (especially without a hoist) so i am not expecting to fully service and repair my car with my budget, but would like to see if anyone is willing to help me with this. I have suitable android screen for my car, it need Installation in 2013 Toyota Prius. The car already have reverse cam but most likely needs to be replaced as the new screens comes with its own. I have a external car play screen installed on the top of the dash that I want it to connect to, the reverse camera came with the purchased car play screen in a set and has connecting wires and a mounting frame. If possible want it to record rear video like the front camera built into the car play unit already does.

I've also purchased a harness that should allow the factory reverse camera to work with the new head unit.
