I just purchased this 2005 Honda Jazz in Sydney today and brought it to Newcastle. I am looking for a qualified, independent mechanic to diagnose and repair two specific issues. Please see the attached photos for reference. ​1. Front-Left Noise & Vibration (Priority) There is a loud noise and vibration coming from the front-left side. It happens at idle, while braking, and significantly when accelerating from a stop (worsens when turning right). Interestingly, I did not perceive this issue at all during the first 40 minutes of driving it today; it only became evident after that period. I am concerned that a short test drive (10-15 minutes) might not reveal the issue, so please keep this in mind. This is my main safety concern, and I need to identify the exact cause (e.g., CV joint, engine mount) and get it repaired. ​2. Door Issue The door does not close properly, and due to a dent on the lower part, water is leaking inside. I need to determine if this is just a common latch/lock mechanism failure or if there is hinge/frame misalignment causing the issue. ​Budget & Priorities The car has 7 months of rego left. My goal is to get these two issues resolved, but I am being mindful of my budget. If the diagnostic uncovers any extremely expensive repairs that are not critical for safety or weatherproofing, I am open to discussing postponing those specific items. ​Deliverables & Timeline: ​A precise diagnostic report and an itemized list of parts needed for the repair. ​A quote for labor costs. ​Timing: I am looking for someone to perform the diagnostic as early as tomorrow (Sunday) and, if possible, carry out the necessary repairs between Sunday and this coming Thursday. ​Please confirm your availability for tomorrow. Help hiring an affordable insurance at same time i buy the car with immediate start effect, I have to drive back to Newcastle same Saturday and want to have insurance immediately, ideally Bingle or affordable ones, explain in advance all the documents maybe I need for insurance. Recently the car was at smash repairs for repainting the side mirror. After it came back the LHS side mirror blind spot camera not working. I think they installed the cover but not the camera.

My Honda scooter was stolen and has now been recovered. After recovery, I noticed damage around the ignition/key area and front panel. The bike no longer starts with the key. It looks like the ignition system and possibly the wiring/chicote around the steering column were damaged during the theft attempt.
