I’m looking for an experienced carpenter (or patio/pergola installer) to line/cover the underside of my patio ceiling for a clean white finished look. Current situation Patio has exposed joists/rafters underneath (see photos). Downlight wiring has already been installed by a licensed electrician (wires are ready). I now need the ceiling lined and finished underneath. What I need done Advise best material for outdoor patio ceiling (white, clean look) – I’m open to fibre cement sheets or PVC lining panels. Install battens if required. Supply & install ceiling lining (or install only if we agree I’ll supply materials). Cut-outs/holes for the existing downlight locations. I require a quote to build a low level patio deck, to replace the existing pavers. The total deck area will be 24m2. It will sit approx 15cm above ground. It may need to sit slightly away from the house, so as not to obstruct the brick weep holes. Will consider either composite or merbau decking, depending on cost difference. Build a patio ceiling out of VJ board. Approx 6m x 3m. We have had a new roof installed over the existing frame. We now need a ceiling built with sides and end properly finished to cover the frame. Not sure on price. Thinking it’s about 2 days work. I will pay for materials separately.
