Task: Repair, Seal & Dust-Proof Internal Exposed Brick Walls I’m looking for an experienced handyman, painter or brick restoration professional to repair and seal exposed internal brick walls in my home. The job includes: * Vacuum and clean all brick surfaces. * Repair/repoint any loose, cracked or deteriorated mortar joints where required. * Fill minor cracks in the mortar (not with silicone). * Stabilise any loose or dusty brick surfaces. * Apply a clear, breathable, natural-look masonry sealer to all exposed brick to reduce ongoing brick/mortar dust while maintaining the original appearance (no glossy finish but a finish which uniforms the brick colour more). Remove orange paint * Protect timber stairs, floor tiles and surrounding areas before starting and leave the area clean afterwards. The walls include: * Fireplace surround. * Main exposed brick feature wall. * Stairwell brick wall. * Adjoining exposed brick areas shown in the photos. I’m looking for someone with experience sealing exposed brick or heritage-style masonry. I'm looking for an experienced bricklayer/block layer to complete a full supply and install of an extension to my existing block wall. The existing wall is currently rendered masonry with a steel fence on top. I want the fence removed and replaced by additional blockwork so the wall becomes a full-height masonry wall. Scope of Works - Remove and dispose of the existing steel fence and posts. - Supply all materials required. - Extend the existing block wall from 1.04m high to 1.80m high. - Tie the new blockwork into the existing wall with appropriate reinforcement. - Leave the wall straight and ready for rendering Wall Dimensions - Length: 2.78 metres - Existing height: 1.04 metres - New overall height: 1.80 metres - Additional height required: 760mm - Wall thickness: 200mm concrete block Quote should include - All materials - Labour - Reinforcement and core filling (if required) - Removal and disposal of the existing fence Note: The existing block wall is already core-filled and is not retaining soil, so the new blockwork should be securely tied into the existing wall using appropriate reinforcement and left ready for rendering.

Need to build a small brick wall, approx 160cm tall x 120cm wide (ish) to fix new electricity meter board to at edge of our property. Im flexible on whether we purchase materials ready or if you pr9vide them. Quotes would differ dependant on this. I am not sure on current pricing. Looking for an experienced Brick and Block layer who would be willing to train some people.

I’m looking for someone experienced to build up the brick wall shown on the right-hand side of the photo, so it finishes level with the brick wall shown on the left-hand side. I’ve counted roughly 80 bricks needed in total. Ideally, I’d like someone who can supply the bricks as well. They don’t need to match perfectly, and old or second-hand bricks would probably be preferred, as I’ll be building a retaining wall in front of it and putting a small deck over the top. The wall needs to be solid and properly built, so I’m looking for someone with bricklaying or similar experience who can advise whether it needs reinforcement or whether standard brickwork will be fine. Timing-wise, I’d ideally like it done by this Friday afternoon, but if that’s too soon, the week after next could also work.
