Hi - I've sourced a new battery for my Mazda CX5 (2021 model, stop start battery) - however, Supercheap Auto were not able to install it. They advised that Mazdas needed a special tool, although I'm not able to find any info of this online. Looking for someone to come and install for me please.

🚗 Mobile Auto Electrician Needed - Electrical Fault (2004 Toyota RAV4) Looking for an experienced auto electrician (not general mechanic) to diagnose and fix an electrical issue. Vehicle: 2004 Toyota RAV4 Location: Coogee We just had a mobile mechanic out, that has suggested we need an auto electrician. Issue: Initially was alternator wasn’t charging. It was odd because the alternator and battery changed less than one year. I bought a new battery, that just went flat. Now, the - Engine cranks but won’t start - Cylinder 2 & 4 ignition coils not firing - Low voltage at ECU trigger wires to coils - Previously had intermittent charging issues (battery/ABS lights, car stalled while driving) - Alternator behaviour has been inconsistent - Diagnostic tool previously struggled to connect What’s already been checked: - Battery replaced (new) - Fuel pump working - Fuses checked (all OK) - Continuity from alternator to battery OK - Alternator exciter wire previously had 0V - Ground cable visually inspected (may still need proper load testing) - Spark issue identified on cylinders 2 & 4 What we need: - Proper electrical diagnosis (ECU power/ground, wiring, voltage drop testing) - Someone experienced in wiring faults, ECU circuits, and ignition systems - Not looking for parts replacement without diagnosis Please only respond if you: - Are an experienced auto electrician - Have diagnostic tools (multimeter, etc.) - Can trace wiring/voltage issues (not just swap parts) Thanks!

Hi, My motorcycle was stolen and later recovered by the police. The bike runs, but the thief cut and bridged some ignition wires near the front/handlebar area (see photo). I’m looking for someone experienced with motorcycle electrical wiring to: • Repair the cut wires properly • Reconnect and insulate them correctly • Check that everything is safe and working as it should The bike is a Honda CB125E. Toyota Kluger 2009 with factory alarm. The alarm randomly goes off a few minutes after locking the car. It does not happen every time. I tested it while sitting inside the car: Doors closed, armed the alarm with the remote while inside, and after about 2–3 minutes the alarm started beeping. After unlocking and locking again, sometimes it stays quiet. Because of this, I currently can’t reliably lock the car overnight. The issue looks like an intermittent switch or sensor: Most likely a faulty door lock microswitch (door latch), but bonnet (hood) or boot switch could also be involved.

I have a Saab 9-3 sportcombi aero that sometimes fails to start. The lights will turn on when key is in ignition but it won’t turn over. If I wait a minute or two it will eventually turn over. I think it’s a lazy starter but not sure and want help diagnosing before I get new parts ordered. Battery is brand new

​I need an auto electrician to diagnose and fix a internal fan power failure on my 2012 MN Mitsubishi Triton. The interior blower fan has completely stopped working on all speeds, and the rear window demister button does not light up or function. ​I have already replaced the 30A blower fuse, but the issue persists. Looking for a diagnostic to confirm if it’s a faulty relay, grounding issue, or the blower resistor. I dont have a new relay ready to be swapped so if that can be provided too, great. I suspect the blower motor relay has failed. Dont think its a faulty resistor which usually allows the fan to still work on one crappy speed. this issue has caused a loss of power to the fan on all settings and killed the control panel lights for the A/C and rear demister. ​Task is located in Randwick.
