Looking for a qualified auto electrician to install and wire up an auxiliary battery system in a camper van. All materials are already supplied — just need the installation and wiring completed. What I have ready: • Auxiliary (deep cycle) battery • DC-DC charger • Power/distribution board • switches and usb chargers • Cabling • Lighting already wired/run through the ceiling • mini fridge • isolator Etc Job involves: • Mounting and connecting the auxiliary battery, DC-DC charger, and power board with all switches and cables installed to joinery and walls around the van. It’s not much. • Running an ignition-sense wire from the DC-DC charger to a switched (ignition-on) fuse in the van’s fuse box, so the charger knows when the engine is running and starts charging the aux battery. (Blue cable) • Wiring in the switches and existing ceiling lighting circuit • General check that everything is safely fused and connected correctly I will be around helping, I’m a carpenter and I’m building it myself.
