Ive installed a Kenwood head unit in my car with all the coorect patch leads etc, however i cant get the steering wheel controls to work. Should be a quick fix for someone with experience

I have toyota camry 2007 i wnna install reverse camera in my car have already before that was broken so wanna replace.

So the BYD Seal doesn't have the cable or dashcam installed in the car because of Australian laws, but you can easily buy these parts and install them yourself (which I have done). The 2024 model still has the cable in the car, which is easier, but unfortunatly in 2025 they also removed the cable. Here is what needs to happen: Pop the shroud that's in front of the rear-view mirror. No need to remove it. Let it hang there. Plug camera cable into camera. Remove circular plug that is in the hole that the camera will look out of. Insert camera into slots for it and make sure it clicks in and looks out the hole. Route the cable into the headliner and start heading along the headliner/glass interface over to the left (passenger side) Remove the rubber seal that is around the door seal Fiddle around and thread the cable down the A pillar and then behind the glove box. (might be easier to remove and might assist). Plug cable into the module that sits between the driver and passenger's feet. Access this from the passenger side. It's a blue female plug that's on the module.
