Hello, my van has a wiring fault that was causing headlights & wiper washer motor on when vehicle was locked & parked. there is a main relay to ground fault amongst others on code scanner. i have a replacement ecu if reqd. BCM may be faulty. i have inspected all wiring i can and contact cleaned. van turns over but won't start. there seems to be a short to ground even with ignition of and with ecu disconnected. i need some professional assistance to identify the source of the problem and its repair. i have done all i can & need this van operational for my electrical contracting business. thanks Scott.

I have a Fiat 2013 Scudo van with a short to ground I cannot find. I had the ECU and the body control module out relays etc etc. I have main relay to ground faults on the multi-system scanner amongst others. The vehicle winds over for the same period of time each time but does not start just cuts out. It also had unusual electrical issues previously such as headlights and wiper washer motor turning on in the middle of the night. I am an electrician but need help from auto electrician to solve this one. I believe I have a short to ground even with most electrics disconnected. Need to get vehicle on the road again ASAP.
