Hire a trusted audio visual technician in Mascot

*Can you also bring a microphone to test just in case mine is broken? *Specific skill/knowledge required, please!* My computer is set up with new Yamaha speakers, an interface I had with all the cords, etc. My C-3 Behringer microphone does not seem to be working OR (and probably AND!) I have not set it up right in my new software Ableton (I got my microphone working in Audacity once but it is not working there either. I am new to all this but have a deadline for recording basic vocals. I am worried my microphone may be broken but it has hardly been used, yet it was dropped so if you have a microphone that will fit my interface, as a last resort, we could test it. I need someone patient with me, please! I also need someone who is probably an Ableton user and maybe even a Behringer-knowledgeable user or a music person! I have no content creating / editing skills.
