I have an internal black aluminium door that is slightly catching the ceiling in one of the top corners both horizontally and vertically which is preventing it from closing properly. There is a straight crack running horizontal to our outdoor wall (double brick and rendered) Hoping to get it cosmetically patched up as close to the same rendered wall colour and texture as possible. Install new x 7 Solid Core (Corenthian HMR solid particleboard core) doors. 2040 x 820 x 35. Ensure smooth operation, alignment, no scrapping etc. Install door levers / handles. IMPORTANT NOTES: Doors jambs appear to be standard size 2040 x 820 however the odd door may need some minor trimming. It's an old house, not much is square, so i cant rule it out is all im saying. Existing door jambs are metal with 2 internal welded hinges (house built in 1979). See attached pictures. I am not sure if an additional hinge will be required to support the extra weight of these solid core doors. I have three doors, installing rubber matts on floors, now door won’t close, need to pull doors off, trim the bottom and re-install so will clear floor and close properly. Note some screws to take off doors a little stubborn.
