Hi, I’m looking for an experienced carpenter to repair a timber laundry door that leads to the garden. Please refer to the attached photos. The bottom section of the door has rotted and needs to be either repaired or replaced. I’d also like the repaired section to be covered with metal sheeting (or a weatherproof alternative) to help prevent future water damage from splashing. Scope of work: • Remove and replace or repair the rotted timber at the bottom of the door • Fit a protective metal cover or similar waterproof solution and paint it white ( or use white material to cover it) • Ensure the pet flap remains functional and door operates properly Please bring your own tools and materials (or let me know what’s needed).
