Our washing machine keeps pausing because it will not drain effectively. Tonight a 40 minute wash has taken almost two hours (and still going). Image shows the trickle of water coming from the machine. Second photo is the model of the machine.

I have a Samsung 8kg top load washing machine that is 10 years old. It recently began making a whining sound during the spin cycle and shortly thereafter the drum stopped spinning. The drum now twitches when it should be spinning. I’m seeking help to repair, assuming it will be cost effective to do so vs replacing with a new machine.
