We purchased an ikea wardrobe but due to ceiling height we are trying to put together whilst upright. We need help with a solution to fix the top and other side (bottom and one side are assembled - see images) Some of the joins are a bit broken so we need a handyman solution.

A screw connecting the inner steel frame to the outer chipboard main frame has come off, and one of the cross steel strips has broken

Large mirrored wardrobe door has become stuck on runner! Need help with fixing it.

I’m looking for someone to help me fix two rails in my wardrobe which have fallen. I’m not sure if the existing rails can be put back up, or whether new rails / brackets are needed.

I need the timber bench that is part of our dining set to be refinished to match the dining set. There was a dent that I attempted to fix myself and it didn’t work out. Size of bench is 36cm wide and 180cm long. The area that is bad is approximately 10x10cm. Can bring to you if necessary or can do onsite if preferred.

Bought these four chairs on marketplace for $500. They were very creaky. But seemed ok. Two guests have fallen through the chairs and the wooden frame has broken (2 still intact, 2 snapped). Want to find the most affordable way to restore them. If Not financially feasible I’ll just go look for something else, but I do love these chairs.

Antique chest of drawers needs repair. Constructed without nails, the wooden joints have expanded and 3 drawers need putting back together. Side of one drawer is missing.

This dresser is solid Oregon Pine. I would like someone to please sand it back to its original tone and finish it in 2 coats of polyurethane (I will supply). I would also like new handles installed please – I will supply those too. The measurements for the dresser are: 1400 long x 840 high x 480 deep. The areas that I would like sanded/finished are: 1. The top (including sides and overhang) 2. The 4 x legs 3. The 2 x sides 4. The 6 x drawer faces (including the edges) 5. The two thin pieces on the front, below and above the drawers. There are no curved or intricate areas on the dresser – it is square and flat. I do not need the drawer boxes done, just the faces. I also do not need the back or bottom of the dresser done. It is just too dark for our current house, so we would like the exterior returned to the original soft pine colour. I have hand-sanded a little discreet patch and it was easy to remove the current dark stain. The timber is beautiful old reclaimed Oregon Pine. The furniture itself though is not antique. It also doesn’t require any repairs. You are welcome to complete the job on site (outside under cover) or pick up and return it at a time convenient for you. In your offer, please provide a total figure (including Airtasker fee). Please also provide an estimate for how many hours of work you expect this job to be. Thank you!
