We are looking for a female tutor for our 16 year old daughter, who is entering Year 11 at BSSSC. We are open to having one tutor for both maths and biology - or individual tutors for both. Please find an outline below: The focus will be on maths methods and biology, helping her maintain her current A-grade standard, consolidate understanding and stay aligned with her current units of study. She intends to study medicine after school. The role involves: - 1 contact hour of Maths Methods tutoring per week - 1 contact hour of Biology tutoring per week - 30 minutes of preparation per week We provide paid preparation time for the tutor to organise the sessions. Preparation includes: • Reviewing the relevant curriculum and current unit content • Creating a quiz to check understanding • Preparing a concise content summary or revision notes tailored to the week’s work or areas that require further study. This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable independently accessing curriculum materials and planning structured sessions.
