We are looking for a fluent Japanese–English speaker to join us for a family dinner and assist with conversational translation. My partner’s brother is getting married this weekend, and tonight we are meeting the bride’s parents who have flown in from Japan. As their English is limited and our Japanese is minimal, we would really appreciate someone who can help translate conversations so both families can get to know each other comfortably. This is a relaxed, social setting, simply helping translate during normal dinner conversation.
