We’re hosting a Halloween party at our Newstead office for clients, colleagues and friends. It’ll be an intimate event of around 30-50 guests, due to the capacity and fire-safety restrictions of the space. We’ll have roving entertainment, including spooky greeters and LED performers, a decadent grazing table and an outdoor bar. We’re looking for an experienced bartender to run the bar, serve beer/wine and make mixed drinks. We’d also love to create one signature spooky cocktail for the evening. Ideally, we also want a second person helping with roaming drinks, clearing glassware, possibly serving some canapes and keeping the grazing table tidy throughout the night. If you can provide glassware and any basic items needed for things to run smoothly I am happy to consider this too! For our small wedding (50 guests) we’ve asked that people bring flowers instead of gifts and these flowers will create the decorations for the ceremony and reception (all on our acreage property). No sales experience is required—just a positive attitude, confidence speaking with people, and a professional presentation and make sure we are compliant with legal obligations to meet the criteria if there is a Hole In One.

Having a family and friends birthday function with approx 35 adults and 6 kids and require 1 very capable, friendly and organized person to assist with arranging food, clean up, etc. Finger food is being catered for but just needs re-heating up in oven and arranging onto trays and table. No need to serve unless feel the need to. Person I am looking for would have had experience with a function on their own. Someone who is very well presented, motivated, friendly and works well on their own. Being a home party I don’t envisage much stress as everyone is friendly and accommodating but I would like whoever comes along to take initiative and do what needs doing without being asked all the time. As the hostess I would like to be able to enjoy our party and friends without worrying about working in the kitchen and tidying up, etc. Party starts at 2pm so would like start to be around 1.30pm with a 4 hour window and may be extended to 6 hours if required.
