We need a 2 seater couch moved downstairs, and have to swap over washing machines (just need help to move one from the ground floor downstairs and the other up - we can hook it up). My partner and I will be available to assist with the couch on Friday. We were unable to do the washing machines on our own - I believe a stair trolley would be helpful. I have attached images of the couch and the stairwell. We will remove the downstairs door to allow us to move it through. The turn of the stairs is two square platforms, and there are 21 steps down (14 if the couch can fit through the downstairs connecting door). There are 8 steps that the washing machines need to travel (and if the couch needs to come around the front).

3.0m long (tops of arms are now removed), but still heavy (frame is Jarrah hardwood & leather) sofa to be moved up 1 flight straight run stairs, with 1.10m landing at top . Very good wide access to hallways. Will require 4-5 men. Going up the stairs, the lower end of sofa has to be lifted over the (1.10m) fragile glass balustrade, from approx 6th tread below first floor level, or over(2.20m) to clear glass balustrade and handed to another man or two men. I have tested this, but was unable to lift one end over with just two men. Ceiling is only 2.70m high, so sofa cannot be fed up the stairs to the landing and stood on its end either.
