I’ve just purchased some new over the counter curtains as my current rental has only provided sheer; they are too cold & not providing privacy coverage… So I have now purchased some insulated types. There are 4 x in total. 135cm x 250cm. The length needs to be around 210cm. Not a difficult job… however I have no idea how to sew or alter them & I just don’t have time atm… thanks!

Curtain hemming alteration

We have 8 pairs of curtains that need to be hemmed and taken up. Each curtain is about 1.4m wide, and are from Ikea so are deigned to be easy to cut. We have different heights depending on the room but will be able to share excr measurements. We will also need some of the curtains joined. We have longer windows that require two pairs (4 curtains) and to allow for them to close togther on a draw string, we will need them sewed together. Thats 4 joins. We are based in Croydon. And can deliver/pick up locally.

Shorten 4x fabric curtains

We have just installed fabric curtains on 2x sliding windows 2.4m long/wide and 2x windows 2.7m wide. The curtains are 2.21m tall. Our windows only 2.1m high. We therefore require someone with experience and a sawing machine to cut them (4 curtains) to shorten 10-11cm and redo the bottom hem.
Dani shortened our curtains and communicated well and promptly. Was very friendly and available.
